Dr Choudhury operated on my ectopic parathyroid adenoma and I was pleased that the operation was performed by her. She is an expert and skilled at her profession. I had total confidence in her and the challenging operation was a complete success. She is also concerned with all aspects of my wellbeing and ensured that other health problems were dealt with along the way, informing my local Doctor about the need to address my kidney stones and she’s also aware of my hoarse voice which she’s dealing with.

listened to all details i gave her about my symptoms and build up. logical approach to identifying root cause. Took updates from me and suggested extra steps to help rule things in and out. Very clear explanation as to the outcome of tests and aligning them to the symptoms i informed her of. The only downside was she seems to be an extremely busy person as getting appointment slots for consultation had a lead time of 1 or 2 weeks. Maybe some of these could be done via a online video call or even telephone call especially for explaining results or next steps. Obviously not for the tests themselves. Miss Choudhary at the end said there was little she could do to resolve the root cause due to the amount of time since i got to see her initially and even from then to final meet was 5 weeks later to get to diagnosis so wouldnt have been quick enough for the action she would have suggested (said if understood the cause within 2 weeks she could have done something).

Straight out of surgery. Felt really well looked after throughout the process. Very excited to be able to breathe through both nostrils. Miss Choudery explained the procedure and after care really well. All staff at Spire were super caring.
