After being recalled back from a routine annual mammogram and then having various biopsies, this resulted in an area of DCIS - oestrogen and progesterone positive fed breast cancer diagnosed in January 2021. I was fortunate to be under Miss Highton on the NHS and easily transferred my care privately with her. I felt reassured and completely comfortable with Lyndsey at all times. My surgery took place at the end of April 2021. The mastectomies and implant based reconstruction was all undertake in one operation. The procedure was fully explained to me by Lyndsey. I felt confident and prepared going to theatre. The operation went well with just one night stay in hospital. I wore a compression bra for approx 6 weeks after and easily managed the pain with the painkillers prescribed. I had follow up checks and there was always a breast nurse available by phone. I have had no issues from the surgery and the result is absolutely amazing, I have the tiniest of scars with amazing natural look and symmetry. Lindsay kept me up to date with my histology results, arranged my future reviews plus liaised with my GP. I feel extremely confident in Lyndsey and my care will continue with her. The breast care nurses at the hospital are brilliant too, very professional, thorough and friendly. At every visit I felt at ease with everyone involved in my care. I can’t rate Lyndsey highly enough, she is an extremely talented breast and plastic surgeon who will listen, puts you at ease, whilst giving you the most outstanding results.

Breast reduction surgery was something I had considered for many years but had always feared such drastic surgery. In September 2020 Lynsey was my surgeon for a breast reduction. During all pre-op appointments, Lynsey really listened to me and cared about me and what results I wanted. She made me feel so comfortable as soon as I met her, it was just like talking to a friend at every appointment. I lived a good few hours from Lynsey but after my reduction she kept in close contact through social media between my check ups to make sure everything was healing well and that I was happy and felt looked after. I am so happy with the results, it has changed my life and made me so much more confident in myself. I had a breast reduction carried out by Lyndsey in March 21 (at the time of writing I am 7 weeks post surgery). From the very first moment I met Lyndsey I felt in incredibly safe hands. She was patient, attentive, understanding and sympathetic. She seemed to have a clear understanding of how the size and weight of my breasts was affecting my life (physically and emotionally), and totally reassured me that this surgery would make the difference I was looking for. Surgery itself went well and I was home the next day. Lyndsey was keen to ensure that I had contact details for help should I need it (not that I did), and I have felt fully supported and reassured since the operation. I would completely recommend Lyndsey, she's done an amazing job, treated me with respect and dignity throughout, and quite literally changed my life (as well as my body!).
