Over the last 12 years I have had 2 breast augmentations. My initial surgery involved the PIP implants so I took the decision to have them removed and replaced in 2014. After 2 children my body changed alot, I naturally put on weight and my breast changed size and shape. I became very self conscious of my breasts, but more worrying I had pain and discomfort. I had these concerns checked and the results came back clear but it was at this point I thought about having my implants removed altogether. I met Miss Highton at an open evening at a local hospital. I immediately felt at ease and felt like she understood my reasoning for having my implants removed. Miss Highton went through numerous options available to me. I decided to have the removal and uplift surgery, having seen photos of clients who had had the same operation made me more confident about my decision. There was no pressure to book or commit at this point. It was still early days (3 months) after having my son. I went home, continued with my research and then in July I booked to see Miss Highton at Spire Manchester to discuss next steps. I had surgery in November, Miss Highton came to see me that evening who explained surgery had gone great. I saw Miss Highton a number of times following my operation, the care before and after surgery was fantastic, not just from Miss Highton but all the staff at the hospital. I expected alot of discomfort following the procedure but was extremely surprised when I had only slight pain/discomfort. My incisions healed wonderfully, the scarring is so neat and precise, much better than my previous operations. I would recommend Miss Highton to anyone who is considering breast surgery. Her knowledge, understanding and attention to detail is outstanding. I am overjoyed with the results and look forward to moving on without the worry of implants in the future.
