I found that Dr Kirker is an excellent consultant. He will listen help and advise and also take on board the wishes of the patient. I’ve now been under his care for over a year and I highly recommend him for rehabilitation. He really does care as well

My wife Patricia Cochrane (patient 913191) unfortunately passed away in May 2023 . She was a patient of Dr Kirkers for over 20 years following her second anterior cervical decompression operation at Addenbrookes in 2000, and he has reviewed her annually over this period . Pat valued his recommendations to help her deal with her disability , and these helped us both to enjoy as full a life as possible , touring America , cruising the Baltic and Mediterranean and driving down to the South of France , all with the aid of a manual wheelchair , and aid equipment recommended by Dr Kirker . Our GPs over the years have commented that his annual updates have given them an invaluable neurological overlay of Pat’ s complicated medical conditions . On Pat’s behalf I must thank him for his invaluable advice and guidance over the last 20years . Best Wishes .John Cochrane

Many thanks Dr Stephen Kirker, For the first time, I had a service in which my doubts were clarified. He answered me, in no hurry and willing to help me. Before seeing Dr Stephen Kirker, I had a few appointments with other doctors (at my last appointment there were 4 or 5 people who came to see me) and they told me there was nothing they could do because I had an accident 30 years ago ago and that affected me neurologically. I was not satisfied and went to Brazil to get a second opinion on my situation. I was seen at Sarah Kubitshek - Hospital specialized in the rehabilitation of people with physical and motor problems. They offered me botulinum toxin injection and a month in a plaster. After this procedure. I was admitted to the hospital for a month to undergo intensive physioterapy treatment, taking a Baclofen 10mg once a day and the 2 tablets a day. Thank God , I'm much much better. I can walk without stumbling . My ankle movement has improved by 60% I'm very happy with the result I got so far.

What is so impressive about Dr Stephen Kirker is his persistence in helping me. If one medication doesn’t work, he will try another and if that one also doesn’t work he will have another suggestion. I feel really safe knowing I have someone who is trying his hardest to help me and I thank him.
