We were listened to. Everything was explained thoroughly. All the staff were kind to us. We were made welcome. No worries or concern was ignored. We could make an appointment whenever we needed to. He was very approachable and we trusted him.
The communication through the team and himself.. Made me feel valued and understood. Finding a place, with my involvement that catered for me. Also helping me understand and improve certain things. I feel he is very professional and directs very well.
A thing to improve would be a little better communication with outside services like social services, CAMHS etc. That would be good.
He was very good at helping me understand things and he very friendly.
I would have probably wanted to see hi more often.
Dr Sankar is a friendly man, who listens to his patients and always does his best for them.
As part of the ward programme, he meets with his patients once a week to discuss how the previous week has gone- including mood, activities, medication.
I always felt listened to by him. He helped me to understand why I engaged in self harm, even though it didn’t make me feel any better.
Whenever he came onto the ward, he would always engage with us.
Dr Sankar is a great man. I am grateful to him for helping in my time of need. Thank you Dr Sankar for always being amazing!
