Dr Rakesh Shah has been my consultant on the NHS for the 8 years since I was first diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. He and his team, particularly Gini, are kind, thoughtful and know what they are doing. I have always felt listened to in Dr Shah’s office. When you discuss something with them which may be embarrassing or upsetting, they listen without judgement and treat you with respect.
