Dr Bush has been our family GP since 2016. She has looked after and supported 3 generations of my family and I would say that she is the best GP, running neck to neck with her former colleague Dr Street. She takes the time to listen to patients, she then has a great knack of absorbing the information and then providing a clear explanation. I have to say that off the 5 GPs I have had in my life and that I can remember, she is the only one who has been able to satisfy my curiosity and my desire to take the necessary preventive action. Thank you Dr Bush for being such a great GP.
I do, and have trusted my life to Dr Bush. She looks and listens very carefully to everything I say. She will then, most times, ask searching question about your statements/conditions, which occasionally don't seem relevant, but which actually FORM PART of her diagnosis.
Her knowledge of new drugs is excellent, and side effects on any prescribed drugs are stated firmly, and in my case have to be spoken back to her. She knows I'm stubborn and likely to disobey dosages occasionally, but when I do for a good reason, I leave a message at reception for her and she ALWAYS answers.
SHE SPEAKS HER MIND VERY FORCIBLY if you do NOT follow her instructions on diet (I'm a diabetic), alcohol (she told me half a bottle of scotch a night would cause problems) it did, exercise - (if you don't walk regularly, you won't be able to walk properly again) [I waddle] so in that way you learn to do as you are told.
This is always done (to me) with a lovely smile.
I do have a name for which I will not repeat here, but is always enclosed on letters to her.
I have very great respect for her as a doctor, and I have met many hundreds of doctors as a rep. She is one of a very few - kind.
Nothing too much trouble and will really listen to you.
Cannot praise highly enough.
Probably the best GP I've ever seen and absolutely lovely too.
Dr Bush goes above and beyond my expectations of a GP. She is kind, caring and extremely knowledgeable.
