when I last saw dr fox, I was in a real bad way. my de-fib had activated 10 times in just over a week, he adjusted my medication, & listened. now a few months down the line, I am going from strength to strength. people keep telling me how well I look,
I put this down to dr fox.

When faced with problems we hand ourselves over to doctors without any real depth of understanding of what we are getting into. The only thing we can offer is our trust.
I don't really know how serious my condition was, I didn't want to know, but I did know that the best chance I had was Doctor Fox and he completely made me feel at ease and confident in his abilities. I also felt he was taking the procedure I had very seriously.
A great man with amazing abilities and a straight forward, no nonsense, conversational manner.
Also a mention for the whole team at Wythenshawe Hospital; from arriving to being handed over to the operating theatre, the team was very professional and respectful, very supportive.
Doctor Fox's team in the theatre were calming, attentive and proffesional. Thank you to all.
Overall, if you're in trouble Doctor Fox and his team are the people to get you though it.

Dr Fox is extremely busy but found time to explain my problems in simple terms, to help with my understanding. The treatment I received duiring my operation was second to none. My cardiac ablation blockage was very quickly identified and removed, all while he was talking me through what he was doing. He also found time to visit the recovery ward twice after my treatment.
May I take this opportunity to thank Dr Fox and the ward staff who looked after me so well duirng post-op recovery.

Dr David Fox is a highly experienced cardiologist/electrophysiologist in Manchester and has been a consultant for over 10 years.
He spent a period of his training at one of the worlds premier heart rhythm institutes (University of Western Ontario, Canada) working with pioneering cardiologist Professor George J Klein, the author of over 500 medical publications.
Dr Fox specialises in the treatment of all heart rhythm disorders and carries out over 220 ablation procedures annually and has a particular interest in atrial fibrillation ablation (pulmonary vein isolation). He also is fully trained in all aspects of pacemaker/ICD implantation.
He is the lead for cardiac rhythm services at Wythenshawe Hospital, Manchester and runs the annual audit program to ensure high levels of safety in and quality of the atrial fibrillation ablation program.
