The consultations I had with Dr Fox were clear and concise. He took the time to listen to me about my problem, and clearly formulated a plan. I was referred to see Dr Fox, in 2011, due to the fact that an irregular heartbeat was picked up whilst i was having an operation from a broken shoulder. I first saw Dr Fox, at the BUPA Alexandra Hospital and he explained everything to me very clearly and i was very impressed with his follow up and overall care.
I have since been having an annual check-up at his specialist unit, at Wythenshawe Hospital and have been so impressed with the efficiency and friendliness of the unit.
I had a pacemaker fitted recently , at the Hospital and again, was impressed everything from the pre-med to the actual attention and professionalism on the day. Excellent.

Dr David Fox is a highly experienced cardiologist/electrophysiologist in Manchester and has been a consultant for over 10 years.
He spent a period of his training at one of the worlds premier heart rhythm institutes (University of Western Ontario, Canada) working with pioneering cardiologist Professor George J Klein, the author of over 500 medical publications.
Dr Fox specialises in the treatment of all heart rhythm disorders and carries out over 220 ablation procedures annually and has a particular interest in atrial fibrillation ablation (pulmonary vein isolation). He also is fully trained in all aspects of pacemaker/ICD implantation.
He is the lead for cardiac rhythm services at Wythenshawe Hospital, Manchester and runs the annual audit program to ensure high levels of safety in and quality of the atrial fibrillation ablation program.
