You need to explain what’s going on and why. When your in the mode you are worried and knowing what’s happening is very helpful to calm the situation down. By the time we got the doctor it had already been 45 mins since arriving. That’s a very long response time for someone with allergies. Had it been a peanut that my misses touched she would have died because the team were taking so long to do everything.
