My son was diagnosed with ADHD by Psychiatry UK refered by the NHS. Jovindah diagnosed my son and he was very patient and understanding. Julie went through the medication titration, she was really friendly and got back to me so quickly. She had to amend my sons medication a couple of times, she was really on the ball and there was no waiting around. When the staff rang to make appointments they were really friendly and the app is pretty straightforward. The waiting time is souch quicker than expected as we didn't go through CYPS/CAMS. The only slight issue we had was that for the online consultation my laptop camera wouldn't work and I found it a bit stressful as I'm not the best with technology, an alternative was found though.

Absolutely brilliant. I was an nhs patient referred by my own GP after desperately trying to find some help into what "was wrong with me". Although the initial waiting list was around a years wait I could not fault the care and effectiveness of the service. They did what was always best for me and helped me to accept my diagnosis and walk me through the best treatment plan for my needs. Everyone I had contact with really listened to me and involved me in every decision about my care. I no longer view it as "something that is wrong with me" and more as a condition that is being managed so well even I was amazed at how I had been living pre-diagnosis for all of those years. I would 100% recommend the service to anyone who feels as though they may have ADHD, child or adult.

This place is amazing!!! I felt understood and cared for. Everyone I spoke with was patient with me as at first I was super nervous to go into getting a ADHD diagnosis as an adult. It is genuinely the best thing I have ever done. I have already recommended Psychiatry UK to a friend who is seeking a diagnosis also, knowing that she will be in safe hands. Thank you for everything!! Dr Sadiq was amazing and made me feel so comfortable instantly.

I had a really brilliant experience! Mainly with nurse Lorraine, she was so supportive and provided really brilliant care when I had concerns regarding medication. It took a few times for me to get the right medication and the right dose but Lorraine was extremely helpful and was always there for any questions I had

I had a great experience. Particularly with Karen during titration. I felt like she listened to me when I had some concerns and difficulties with one of the doses. She got back to me straight away and helped me to adjust the dose resulting in a perfect balance that works for me and my life. After struggling for so long it really feels like I have been given large chunks of life back. So a very sincere thank you from me!

Dr Rao did my autism assessment which was around 4 months wait time from right to choose. She was kind and listed out the three categories questions would be around. She wasn't ambiguous with questions which put me at ease. She was able to diagnose me there and then giving detailed reasoning as to why she came to the diagnosis with a further report being sent within 3 weeks. She did say she sometimes recommends therapy but having had CBT for years beforehand she didn't think that was needed. If you were like myself and looked at this website before your autism assessment I recommend going onto embrace autism website and doing all their questionnaires, the questions are very similar and made the process easier to know what to expect.

From start to finish my ADHD journey was taken seriously and informatively. Dr Rachna was professional and really put me at ease. I felt listened to throughout and I was involved during the entire process. In total my assessment was within 6 months and all easy to follow, I highly recommend Psychiatry UK for all neurodivergent needs.

Paul was my nurse and his help, knowledge, and support have been so helpful and reassuring in getting me adjusted to my new medication. I'm so happy with the results and the difference is definitely life changing and I can go on to live life confident in my ability perform. I appreciated Paul's patience and availability during the whole week (including weekends) which made me feel like I was taken good care of. Paul always kept me updated every step of the way and ensured that we were both 100% happy with the dosage by extending our testing or making small adjustments here and there which made me feel like I mattered despite understanding the demand for titrations. Under Paul's care I feel like I have gotten the most out of my time with Psychiatry-UK and I could not have asked for a better nurse to have taken care of me. I would also like to mention that the admin team have been exceptional at raising my case in the first place. I felt heard and listened to and my queries were always responded to quickly. Thank you so much to everyone at Psychiatry-UK for the wonderful service.
