Dr Soumaya Nasser el din was very kind and listened well to my story. She never came across as judgmental, and showed great empathy throughout our conversation.

I was assessed by Dr Soumaya Nasser el Din yesterday. I was treated by Soumaya with respect, care and she really listened to me and was very empathetic. She was kind and compassionate in her approach and as such I felt able and comfortable to talk to her about things which are difficult. She really put me at ease throughout the session and was very thorough taking the time to get to know me and my symptoms. She was very knowledgeable about ADHD and has since sent some very useful resources to me in a very timely manner.

The assessment wait time was not too long considering I’d been waiting for three years with NHS. But once diagnosed the wait for treatment is at least six months just for medication (therapy or coaching even longer) which was not made clear at referral stage so I wouldn’t recommend on this basis .

We try to keep patients notified of our titration wait times on our website, which we update monthly. However, we note that this was not made clear to you at referral stage, and that this may have affected your decision to proceed. Our Patient Services Team continuously audits our communications and other processes to ensure that we keep on top of any problems and implement improvements where necessary. I had recent diagnosis of ASD. The Doctor that took it was very friendly, extremely polite, courteous and informative. He made me feel very relaxed and explained everything well. All in all, ten out of ten service.

I accessed psychiatry.uk through the "Right to choose", through a referral my GP made for my ADHD diagnosis. I cannot really praise the service highly enough. They quite literally changed my life. The moment my Titration Nurse initiated the titration process, he has been there for me throughout the whole of it, always answering my concerns and questions quickly, with empathy and a professionalism that should be taken as an absolute Gold Standard.
Before him, the doctor that assessed me has been the most caring, patient and helpful in taking me through the process and helping me talk about my life with my condition. I, with no doubt whatsoever, highly recommend psychiatry.uk to anyone who can reach out to them and has the opportunity to choose to work with them.

I have had a good experience with Psychiatry UK, I felt listened to, cared for well, and appreciated a quick service, where the clinicians were efficient and informative, shared lots of good links to do with the medication I was on, and the Patient Portal worked really well so I could maintain good dialogue with my Consultant, Nurse Prescriber or Admin team whenever needed. Would recommend to anyone seeking their ADHD treatment through their Right to Choose pathway- this service does not prioritise their private patients over NHS patients, or vice versa. Could not recommend enough

PUK's guidance through my ADHD assessment, getting my ADHD diagnosis and the medication titration process was vital. All staff were extremely knowledgeable, supportive and responsive. I felt like my well-being was valued and that they tried to help me throughout my ADHD journey. Any questions I had, I was able to ask via my portal case notes and could see when it had been viewed as well as receive a straightforward answer within a few days, often the very next day. Would highly recommend it to others in assisting with their ADHD journey.

Had a good experience with PUK, all staff responded quickly to enquires and were very kind.
Found my prescriber to be wonderful, very quick responder, kind woman who genuinely seemed to care about my progress and made the whole process very easy.
