All the staff I spoke to were very accommodating and understanding. On my initial meeting I didn’t get across everything I needed, and they were more than happy to have another session to discuss again which was so helpful. Titration started pretty quickly, and once it started it was easy to use the forms and discuss anything with staff online. Throughout they include you in all decisions rather than just telling you what to do which is great and check in regularly. Now titration is done, I’m feeling so much better and am now ready to move to my GP.

Dr Kumar was very supportive during my initial assessment. Since I was initially diagnosed back in Korea, I was worried about getting used to the new medical system, but he followed up on my symptom quickly. In addition, the session was well structured, and he gave me enough time to deliver my thought and situation. Overall, today's session helped me a lot.

Psychiatry UK have been great in the process of seeking clarity on my suspected neurodivergent struggles. Super organised and every member of staff I've spoken to has been so lovely and understanding.

I was assessed by Dr Soumaya Nasser el din who was very kind and understanding. She really put me at ease. It was nice to be able to talk openly without feeling judged or misunderstood.

Psychiatry UK has, quite literally, changed my life. Every staff member I interacted with was warm and understanding, and at no point during my journey did I feel left out of the loop or spoken down to. The online portal keeping everything in one place helped me to submit the paperwork needed on time (crucial when you're being diagnosed with ADHD!) and I was always kept up to date with what was happening behind the scenes. I received my ADHD diagnosis after a thorough consultation and the accompanying titration period managed by their pharmacist felt safe and managed even though I never physically interacted with anyone. I am at the end of this now and am leaving their care confident that I understand myself a little bit better. Huge thanks especially to Claire.

Psychiatry UK (from my experience and friends/family exploring other routes) I believe is the most quick and efficient route for those with undiagnosed ADHD. Everyone was very helpful and respectful and kind. Communication was regular and all questions were answered. I felt supported and informed throughout. The only thing I would have liked more of was detailed information around my medication and what it impacts/how to manage it. For example it was only through personal research that I found out the importance of increased protein intake and supplements such as omega 3 which can help the medication be more effective and lessen side effects. I think the importance of a healthy high protein diet and regular exercise should be stressed more to patients, as I found the medication hard to manage when I wasn’t leading a healthy daily routine, as do many others.

Psychiatry UK was very easy to use and had a wide range of appointments readily available. This helped me to get a diagnosis quickly and entangled me to start a treatment plan.
