Found it easy to stay in touch with doctor and prescriber, both would reply in good time if i had questions and explain fully.

I had my online ASD assessment today with Dr Soumaya Nasser el din who diagnosed me with ASD level 1 but also moderate depression and this has validated how I’ve been feeling but didn’t really understand why. The process today was professional and reassuring and the process from the start and all contact with staff has been excellent and I’m really glad I chose Psychiatry UK via right to choose. Everything has been calm, professional and kind with full understanding of myself and full explanations.it will make a positive difference to my life and I am very grateful

Very relaxed, easy route to my ASC assessment. The exact opposite of my CMHT. Would definitely recommend.

My prescribing nurse Karen was incredible and I felt really safe in her hands. she worked closely with me to monitor any benefits and side effects of my medication during titration and we made decisions together on how to proceed. I was not rushed and felt that she genuinely cared and wanted the best for me. I'm so so grateful for this service. I had already been waiting 2 years for a diagnosis and was told that I had a wait of a further 2 years but I managed to get referred to Psychiaty-UK under Right to Choose and was seen in 6 months.

Everything was very good overall; I felt informed about the overall process of diagnosis and treatment, and how long each stage would take. The information on waiting times was accurate and helpful, and when I compare this to other services I've used PUK stand out as being the best at communication. In comparison, the local mental health and psychiatry services in Bristol are like a black hole; information goes in, but nothing comes out.
The most important thing for me was that I was informed about decisions and I felt involved in them. The clinicians listened to me and advised where necessary so that it felt like a partnership rather than an unequal relationship. They were respectful and professional throughout my treatment, which made everything much easier to deal with.

I had a great experience - really thorough, didn't rush me to make a decision on the meds i needed, very helpful.
