I was lucky to find Psychiatry UK when I did. The waiting list for ADHD diagnosis at my local NHS provider was long, and the waiting list with P-UK was short at the time. The diagnosis process was done really quickly. Titration took a while for me, but that was because it needed to. The admin staff have always been superb. They are helpful and booked me in quickly, and when I had a query, the dealt with that well too. The pharmacy dispensed my medications without any fuss and checked things like address details thoroughly. Having medication delivered was brilliant. I know several people who have said using local pharmacies for controlled medications can be difficult. By contrast, this was just smooth and simple. My psychiatrist, Dr Mashru really listens to me. I felt heard. I came away from my first appointment with anew understanding of myself, My ADHD and how perimenopause impacts on it. I recommend Dr Mashru if you want to understand ADHD and how women’s hormones impact it, at different life stages and throughout your 28 day cycle. The titration process is done through - web portal. That is helpful ans you can add information at a time which works for you and when your adhd brain is able to do it. It would be great to have more functionality for adding all the data needed for medications straight in the app rather than a word document. I understand an app is in development. Thank you to everyone at P-UK for paving the way in right to choose. I can’t imagine what would have happened if I had had to wait the longer time for an NHS diagnosis. I wouldn’t be in the good place I am now. I know your success has come with longer waiting times than when I started the process. I hope you can grow with the demand. I also see all the support your team give in certain Facebook groups to people going through the right to choose process and the way you are fighting for the changes in the law and for CCGs in certain areas to provide adequate services. Thank you

PUK were a great choice to go with. At first I was hesitant because going private isn't cheap, but now I'm nearing the end I can say that it was worth the cost. If I hadn't gone with them I'd never have realised how deeply ADHD has affected me throughout my life.

They're brilliant. The process was so much faster than waiting to see someone in person. I had a meeting with Dr Abioye, which I disconnected from halfway through due to my poor internet, however when i managed to rejoin he was still there waiting for me and he let me ramble on and i went over the meeting time by about 30 minutes. He was very professional and i felt like he listened to everything i said and took notes of the important details. The nurse i spoke to was Claire Meadows and she was excellent, just take a look at her reviews. No bad words to say about anyone involed with my care and i would fuly recommend Psychiatry-UK to anyone and everyone.

Our assessment was on line and it was a much better experience than I thought it was going to be. Psychiatry UK are very efficient and were always quick with their responses. Would definitely recommend them.

What a great service! I got diagnosed and treated for ADHD in a matter of weeks. Considering that the NHS can take over a year to do the same thing through local providers, this was amazing. I used the right to choose letter on their website to get the care - would recommend anyone in my situation to do the same.

They gave me lots of valuable information regarding ADHD, and what the process was going forwards, identified that I do infact have ADHD and went through the treatment plans with me. I felt supported the whole time and felt like I was being listened to. The speed in which I was seen and this was handed was light years faster than my previous options.

Having not been taken seriously through the NHS a friend advised to through psychiatry UK as right to choose and i’m so glad that I did. I had Dr. Neel Tambimuttu who was patient with everything i said and validated how it may have effected me. Furthermore he took the time to explain every treatment, what it would entail and all the effects of it. I felt well informed and relieved to be taken seriously and understood.

I had Dr Salwan Jajawi, he was extrememly helpful and listened to everything I said. He diagnosed me with something I thought I'd had for years which no other doctor would listen to me about. He made me feel listened to and understood. Thank you so much!

Having waited over 2 years after my referral from my GP, I finally looked into going private. Not only were private clinics VERY expensive, but there was still a wait for a diagnosis. As I looked into fees on the P-UK website I discovered the NHS Right to Choose scheme (https://psychiatry-uk.com/right-to-choose/), and found they could provide a diagnosis much sooner than anywhere else. Although skeptical, I took the leap and cannot recommend P-UK enough. I have already referred a friend, and hope people feel comfortable going through the site. The treatment has been Fantastic, and even though it's all been online via the P-UK portal, not once have I felt ignored or disrespected. When the first trial of medication didn't feel like it was doing much, my Titration Nurse (Claire) listened to me and we tried another. It feels life-changing - my mental energy and focus has improved to the point where I can actually sit and work all day, as opposed to the 2 hours which left me drained before. Providing weekly assessments meant my health and progress were closely monitored. I'd still be on the waiting list had I remained in the queue from my GP. So grateful I took the chance with P-UK. Can't recommend enough!
