I had a consultation with one of the doctors at PUK and they were fantastic. Dr. Jajawi was extremely professional, gave a calming energy to his way of consulting and questioning but at the same time was very direct. I felt his questioning methods were excellent and I felt it was a great sense of continuity and flow in the way we consulted. We shared a few laughs, which was comforting and throughout the consultation, he respectfully let me finish my sentence, without interruption and ask me to elaborate when needed. When the outcome of diagnosis was shared with me, again the doctor was extremely professional and showed great empathy and support as well as reasoning in the human mind and made me feel less anxious and worried on the matter. He took my opinion on board in terms of treatment and was swift in the course of action to prescribe and send my prescription to pharmacy .

My experience is very poor. I was referred by my GP for an annual medication review due to changes in licensing or protocols or something. I knew nothing about them, nor their online-video-only demands. Anyway, having carried out all of the necessary expensive observations and bloods etc needed themselves (i.e. my GP):- 1. Psychiatry UK (P-UK) refused to accept my diagnosis from a fully qualified, long establised private Psychiatry clinic. they demanded extensive written assessment of thexact type I had done for my actual diagnosis two years earlier. they didjnt even say why it was needed, just that it was 'something he (the psychiatrist) wants. Only when pushed hard did they admit they wished to confirm my diagnosis. I feel I was being called a liar, whihc was breathtaking considering the legal standard evidence in front of them 2. P-UK intially agreed to a telephone-only consultation. Two months later, with just 45 minutes to go to the appointment, P-UK informed me they and their psychiatrist would NOT carry out a telephone-only consultation. That thye can decide that is fine, that they decide that less than 60 inutes before a consulation, is not. 3. I was contacted for unsolicited 'empowerment conversations after I complained. And... ..most importantly: 4. When P-UK recieved documentation from me, they uploaded it to a different patients' 'portal'. That patient then had access to my personally sensitive data. Only for a short while, but they still had chance to read my self-assessment. The email informing me of this began with 'just to let you know...' The above summaries are TRUE. They are matters of record and not opinion and I would swear to them on Oath in Court and have [ipso facto] documentary evidence of them. However, it is my honestly held belief that other patients using Right To Choose may have a similar experience. I full expect to now be denied a review as the last thing you can be in modern Western Europe is dissenting.

I'm so happy I was told about Right to Choose and Psychiatry UK. The wait was a few months, but still a lot better than the standard NHS wait time, and once I was booked for an appointment everything went really smoothly. I really like my doctor, and the contact I had with the help desk (for an issue with the contact info the NHS had turned over, not anything Psychiatry UK had done wrong) they were very friendly and quick to fix the issue so I could use the portal. The website is easy to use and the directions are clear for what you need to provide before the assesment. I haven't started my treatment under their nurses yet so I can't speak to the care provided there, but everyone I've interacted with so far has been great.

I can thoroughly recommend Psychiatry UK. The portal is easy to use and feedback has always been supportive and responsive. Dr Lagundoye took away all my fears about the assessment process and is warm, calm, helpful, patient and informative. Although a few months seems like an eternity in an ADHD mind and pre-diagnosis can be a pretty anxious period, now the diagnosis is complete, I am so grateful to have chosen this route rather than endure the long waiting lists and potential challenges I have read about elsewhere. Thank you for a simple, hassle-free process

I had a consultation with Dr Reji Jayan and it could not have gone better. The doctor was professional, caring and I never felt under pressure. I believe the diagnosis was accurate and am now looking forward to having the correct treatment and medication for a condition that had been inaccurately diagnosed for over 30 years.

My experience with PUK has been largely positive. I was seen within 6 weeks of my original referral via right to choose, having been on the NHS waiting list for over a year. There were a lot of forms and evidence needed for my appointment but Dr Tambimuttu did diagnose me within that appointment. The wait for titration was long, and this is area I feel communication could have been improved slightly, but once started the titration nurse was helpful and understanding and the full process took around 3 months. I have found medication life changing.
