Dr Rojo conducted my initial assessment and was so kind, understanding and helpful. He listened throughout the call even with me going off subject of questions a few times, he never became impatient or angry, something that I think a lot of ADHD people end up receiving during any kind of conversation so was clear he knew what he was doing and how to handle patients well. After receiving my diagnosis on this appointment I did have a while to wait for titration however not massively long, Karen Smith was my nurse and I can say I’m eternally grateful for her patience throughout titration. She was always happy to listen to any concerns about medication and often offered solutions to help combat any issues, side effects and was happy to change my medication with no issue when I felt the first wasn’t right for me after a few weeks! Her goal was to make sure I was completely happy before being offered my end of titration appointment. Dr Gosai conducted my end of titration appointment, he was also lovely and explained shared care in detail for me, as well as double checking that I am happy with my medication before proceeding. Another fabulous member of staff! I am eternally thankful for everyone working hard at psychiatry uk, I understand how inundated with patients they are at the moment so of course i experienced a few hiccups however these were always resolved within a reasonable time period, especially at busier times of year. With no adult adhd service in my area, I am so glad to have had the choice to use their service, they have changed my life and for that I am grateful.
