I felt listened to and my treatment plan was tailored to me based my my requests and requirements, which were respected and accommodated throughout the process. I was responded to in a timely manner even outside working hours. I sometimes found it hard to keep up with the paperwork involved during the monitoring period. This didn't impact my care, however it may be helpful to others with ADHD to have a more comprehensive monitoring system. I sometimes felt overwhelmed by the pending monitoring forms that I fell behind on especially when the medication I was trying didn't help me in terms of organisation and focus. I think maybe the service could also be improved with more focus on non medical management along side medication and guidance in managing ADHD as well as education about it. I'm very grateful for the the service and the hardwork of all healthcare and administration professionals involved. Being listened to and taken seriously has really had a positive impact on my mental health and has given me confidence and hope moving forward and managing my condition.
