Although the wait time was quite long for the initial assessment, I think it is much longer currently to go through the usual NHS channels (from hearing friend's stories) and the process of using PsychUK was very easy. Their patient portal makes communication about appointments, prescriptions, and questions during the titration process very straight forward. I felt supported the whole way through my titration, and any questions or concerns I had were taken seriously and answered right away. I would advise anyone looking at getting assessed for ADHD as an adult through the NHS to use the right-to-choose scheme to access PsychUK's services.
