Three people I met today had no bed side manner. I felt like I was an annoyance. The porter (male) was not helpful when I couldn't get up after surgery he was saying you need to get up but my legs were numb (I explained this) and I had to grab his arm.
The surgeon was not nice at all. Felt like he just shoved the tables inside me and had a tone in his voice of annoyance. I'm sorry I was a bit tearful but it's not a strole in the park.
One of the ladies who was in surgery asked me to lift my leg. I explained I can't lift it all the way myself due to the pain, she then replied well I'm not lifting your leg so you have to, meanwhile the lady on the left of me said ok I'll lift and try as much as you can. Mind blowing beacuse they were both either side of me at the same time .
The anaesthetist was amazing he saw I was in a lot of pain and was really nice and reassuring.
Honestly I'm shocked at how I was treated by professionals.
The patients showed more kindness than 3 people combined.
Thank you to the ladies who checked my pressure and who the lady who done my scan, you are amazing and appreciated.

Nurses were really lovely and took a lot of care into how I felt. I also had a taxi arranged and I really appreciate it, thank you for helping me with my decision and reassuring me that it will be okay.
