The nurses in ward were very attentive to make an unpleasant experience as comfortable as possible. The theatre staff put me at ease by explaining what they were doing and respectful at preserving my modesty in what was quite an invasive procedure. The negatives would be waiting for the procedure in a waiting room/ward whilst other girls were being wheeled round post procedure sobbing and crying out in pain which made me feel very anxious before I went in for my procedure.
