This morning I attended my appointment with Marie Stopes in Stoke Gifford.
Naturally due to the nature of the appointment and having to attend it on my own, its safe to say I was feeling apprehensive and scared of the unknown.
But I must say from the minute I walked through the door I was made to feel at ease. So this is just an email thanking every member of staff I encountered this morning.
Partically paying thanks to [name removed] the nurse who so delicately and patiently explained the termination process, ensuring I understood throughout and giving me plenty of oppurtunity to ask for clarification or question if i needed too.
She had every attribute that a nurse should have, well mannered, approachable, and caring, and is a credit to the service.
She was accompanied by [name removed], a student nurse on her placement. [name removed] was so friendly and observed [name removed]'s assessment, I can tell she's going to be a wonderful nurse and I wish her all the luck with her studying and future practice.
They both listened to me, without any judgment or question of my personal decision for the termination. They treated me as a human, with the upmost respect and dignity and made me feel so safe and secure in their care which is all you can really hope for during this unplanned life experiance.
I was provided with contraception at the same appointment which is just so convieniant and protects me from having to use the service again, but know if I ever have too, how professional and wonderful you all are. So thankyou again, and I wish you all happy festivities!!

Thanks to the stoke giford clinic.
I was so sacred but the team made me feel secure and everything passed fast and smothy.
I felt so pleased of the gentle caring people were around me specialy during the intervention as i started to shake and cry before the anesthetic had effect.i would like to thank the nurse who hold mu hand and the one who looked at my eyes while put the oxigen mask calming me down with supportive words.thank you
