I have had the privilege of working with Dr Peter Mason for the last last part of my NHS career. During my professional journey I have met and worked with many competent colleagues, whom I admired and learnt from.
However, when it comes to Dr Mason, he was the one I admired and enjoyed working with the most. It was his commitment to patients, his inner need to help in the best possible way, his dedication, respect and consideration for those in need which made the difference to me. Always approachable, always ready to go a long way to serve his patients and colleagues.
Not to mention his exceptional knowledge, experience and professionalism. And also his sense of humor!
I was delighted to find out that he now runs his own service. The best news for anybody who would like to see a private psychiatrist.
